It was an absolutely earth-shattering start for Dhurandhar: The Revenge on Wednesday (March 18) in the paid preview shows. The Dhurandhar sequel nailed it right from the word ‘go’. As if the mind-boggling initial in the paid preview shows weren’t enough, collections the following day (Thursday) were also historic. Consequently, the total for the first two days was mind-numbing, having almost touched the Rs. 150-crore mark!! The film netted Rs. 50 crore on Wednesday, which is a record for paid preview shows. The total for Thursday was Rs. 90 crore, a record again. Hence the total for the first two days was an unimaginable Rs. 140 crore. Collections dropped on Friday which closed at Rs. 81 crore. Therefore, the total for the first three days was Rs. 221 crore! Each day’s collection total was a record-breaking one. Today being Eid, the net collection figure may go up to Rs. 105-115 crore, which, again, is unprecedented. That means, it will displace Dhurandhar as the numero uno film. Shows of the film were conducted all through the night on all the three days, which, again, is a new record.
