Bhooth Bangla did well in the first week, mainly in the weekend. After netting Rs. 3.50 crore in paid previews on Thursday (April 16), the film collected Rs. 10.75 crore on Friday. Collections shot up on Saturday (Rs. 17 crore) and even more on Sunday (Rs. 20 crore). After a weekend total of Rs. 51.25 crore, collections on the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 5.50 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 6.50 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 5 crore, Thursday – Rs. 4.50 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 21.50 crore. Hence the first week closed at Rs. 72.75 crore.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (dubbed and the original English versions) did fair business in the first week. The film opened with a net collection of Rs. 1.64 crore on Friday. Collections increased almost 50% on Saturday which, therefore, closed at Rs. 2.43 crore. Collections further increased to Rs. 3.28 crore on Sunday, taking the first weekend’s total to Rs. 7.35 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.58 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.90 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.48 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.46 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 2.42 crore. In this way, the first week closed at Rs. 9.77 crore.

Project Hail Mary (dubbed and the original English versions) continued its victory march in 4th week. The fourth weekend started with a take of Rs. 0.79 crore on Friday. Collections more than doubled on Saturday which closed at Rs. 1.78 crore. The total for Sunday was even better at Rs. 1.89 crore. After a fourth weekend total of Rs. 4.46 crore, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.48 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.54 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.56 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.44 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 2.02 crore, the fourth week closed at Rs. 6.48 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 66.55 crore.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge managed respectable collections in its fifth week too despite the opposition of Bhooth Bangla! The fifth weekend began with a net collection of Rs. 2.75 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday increased to Rs. 4.50 crore and Rs. 5 crore respectively, taking the fifth weekend’s total to Rs. 12.25 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 1.50 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 2 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.60 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.50 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 6.60 crore. In this way, the fifth week closed at Rs. 18.85 crore. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 1,045.85 crore.

Salbardi (Marathi) could not do much in the first week in Maharashtra.
Phula (Marathi) fared miserably in 1st week all over Maharashtra.
Super Duperr (Marathi) dropped in its third week but still managed to do quite well in Maharashtra.
