Cinemas in Telangana have been granted permission to reopen. What’s more, they can operate at cent per cent capacity.

In Andhra Pradesh, the government has allowed cinemas to reopen but at 50% capacity only. What’s more, the cinemas will have to comply with the night curfew rules in those districts where such a rule is in effect.

Meanwhile, the Bihar government has not given permission to cinemas in the state to reopen. Pertinent to note that schools, colleges, gyms and swimming pools in the state have been allowed to reopen but malls, single-screen cinemas and multiplexes have been exempted from the reopening order.

In Uttar Pradesh, the government has clarified that cinemas can function at 50% capacity only, that too, for five days a week. In other words, they will have to remain shut on Saturdays and Sundays.
