Distributor Anil Thadani (AA Films) has announced his slate of forthcoming releases — in cinemas, of course. The line-up starts with Indoo Ki Jawani which has been scheduled for release on 11th December. This will be followed by Toolsidas Junior, also slated for release in December. Toolsidas Junior marks the return of Rajiv Kapoor to acting after almost three decades. It co-stars Varun Buddhadev with Sanjay Dutt in a cameo appearance. The film is produced by Ashutosh Gowariker.
January 2021 will see four film releases by AA Films — Tuesdays And Fridays, Saina, Madam Chief Minister and Time To Dance. Anmol Dhillon, son of Poonam Dhillon and producer Ashok Thakeria, will debut in Tuesdays And Fridays which is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and directed by Taranveer Singh. It co-stars Niki Aneja Walia, Zoa Morani and Jhataleka Malhotra. Saina, the biopic of Saina Nehwal, stars Parineeti Chopra in the title role. It is directed by Amole Gupte. Richa Chadda plays Mayawati in Madam Chief Minister which is loosely based on the life of the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister. It is directed by Subhash Kapoor, the man who directed Jolly LL. B and Jolly LL.B 2. Sooraj Pancholi stars in Time To Dance, directed by Stanley D’Costa for T-Series.
Hurdang (starring Sunny Kaushal and Nushrat Bharucha; directed by Nikhil Bhat) and Koi Jaane Na are slated for release in February 2021. Kunal Kapoor and Amyra Dastur star in Koi Jaane Na, directed by Amin Hajee.
