Veteran actor Rakesh Pandey breathed his last on 21st March at 8.50 a.m. in Bombay following cardiac arrest. He was 77. He is survived by his wife, daughter and a grand-daughter.
Rakesh Pandey had been admitted to Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Bombay. His last rites were performed on 22nd at the Shastri Nagar crematorium.
Rakesh Pandey had worked in many Hindi and Bhojpuri films. He debuted in Sara Akash. Among the other films he was seen in are Mera Rakshak, Yehi Hai Zindagi, Ek Gaon Ki Kahani, Woh Main Nahin, Do Raha, Balam Pardesia (Bhojpuri) and Bhaiya Dooj (Bhojpuri).
