Popular film and television actor Ranjan Sehgal died of multiple organ failure yesterday (11th July) in Chandigarh. He was 36.
Ranjan Sehgal had acted in Punjabi films like Yaaran Da Katchup, Aatishbaazi Ishq and Mahi NRI. He was also seen in Bollywood film Sarbjit. Among the TV serials he had acted in were Rishton Se Badi Pratha, Tum Dena Saath Mera, Gustakh Dil, Bhanwar, Jaane Kya Hoga Ram and Kuldeepak. He was also seen in Crime Patrol and Saavdhan India. He had worked in many TV commercials too.
Ranjan started out as a theatre actor. He had done his post-graduation in theatre from Punjab University. He moved from Chandigarh to Bombay but was attached to his home town. Just a day before the end came, he had been finalised for a Punjabi serial on Zee Punjabi.
