Leading Mysore distributor Ajay Chandani was killed in a road accident on 14th July in Bangalore. He was in his mid-forties. Ajay’s friend had purchased a high-tech motorcycle and wanted Ajay to ride the same in a trial run. Little did the friend know that he was asking Ajay to go on his final journey because within minutes of riding the motorbike, Ajay lost balance, crashed the bike into a pole and died instantly. He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Ajay was the son of the leading Mysore distributor, late Pal Chandani, and was himself a front-runner in the business. He used to distribute all films of Yash Raj Films, in Mysore circuit.
