Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from Nanavati Hospital earlier during the day (2nd August). He had been admitted to the hospital on the night of 11th July, after he tested positive for COVID-19. He tested negative today and was sent home where he will observe quarantine for some days. Seventy-seven-year-old Bachchan thanked his fans, family, friends and the doctors at the hospital. Abhishek Bachchan who was also admitted for the same reason, after barely an hour of Amitabh’s admission on 11th last month, continues to be in hospital. Abhishek’s wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and daughter, Aaradhya, were admitted a few days after the two Bachchans. The mother and daughter were discharged from hospital earlier.
