After sending a number of migrants stranded in Bombay to their native places in buses, Amitabh Bachchan has now had 1,000 migrants airlifted in chartered flights to Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Two flights to each of the three destinations took migrants to their homes on June 10 and 11 (today).
