Producer Anand Pandit’s 60th birthday party on 21st December at Hotel Tulip Star in Bombay was an event to behold. Preparations for the big day had started months in advance so that everything went according to plan and with clockwork precision. Alongside his 60th birthday, the youthful Pandit also celebrated the completion of 20 years of his construction company, Lotus Developers. Anand Pandit is a builder, besides being a film producer and distributor.
The evening saw a galaxy of stars including the Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Kartik Aaryan, Kajol, Ritesh Deshmukh, Kapil Sharma, Anupam Kher, Urvashi Rautela, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Hina Khan, Sunny Leone, Elli AvrRam, Vishal-Shekhar, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Jeetendra, Javed Jaffri, Shatrughan Sinha, Tusshar Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Subhash Ghai, Abbas-Mustan, Ramesh Taurani, Namit Malhotra, etc.
Amitabh Bachchan, who shares a close bond with Pandit, not only cut a six-tier cake with him but also released a biography and coffee table book inspired by his life. Bachchan, who rarely attends private or public functions nowadays, made an exception this time. Shah Rukh Khan attended the party in spite of being busy with the release of his Dunki the same day.
Music directors Vishal-Shekhar helmed the musical entertainment for the night. Sonu Nigam was the master of ceremonies. Sources reveal that Sonu as well as Vishal-Shekhar lent their magic to the evening out of sheer goodwill and their respect for the host.
Anand Pandit shared some milestone memories from his personal and professional journey and thanked his family and friends for their contribution to his success and for enriching his life.
