Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was questioned by the Versova police station in Bombay on 1st October with regard to a case of sexual harassment and assault registered against him after actress Payal Ghosh lodged a complaint on 21st September. Payal had alleged that Anurag raped her at a place at Versova in 2014. Kashyap described the allegation as baseless. The police had registered an FIR against Anurag Kashyap under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Reportedly, Anurag will be questioned once more.
