A magistrate’s court in Bombay on June 23 granted choreographer Ganesh Acharya bail in a sexual harassment case. In February 2020, an FIR was registered against Acharya for allegedly sexually harassing and intimidating a woman. He was not arrested. The FIR, registered at the Amboli police station in Bombay, also named two women — Jayashree Kelkar and Preeti Lad Pujari — and accused them of abusing the woman.
The case will come up for hearing on December 12.
