Well-known Bengali and Odia film singer Nirmala Mishra passed away at her residence in Calcutta in the early hours of 31st July after suffering a massive heart attack. She was rushed to a nursing home where she was declared dead. Nirmala Mishra was 83 and had been battling age-related illnesses.
She had lent her voice to a number of songs, many of which were hits.
