After the extraordinary response to the trailer of Singham Again, the trade was waiting with bated breath for the trailer of the other Diwali release — Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Well, two days after Rohit Shetty launched his trailer with a lot of fanfare, Bhushan Kumar and Anees Bazmee launched the trailer of their Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 today (9th October) in Jaipur. And boy! what a trailer that was!
A huge media contingent from different cities was invited to cover the trailer launch event at the iconic Rajmandir Cinema in the Pink City.
The frenzy for the trailer release in the presence of the film’s stars was visible in the Rajmandir compound hours before the function actually started. Huge crowds, braving the Jaipur heat at 12.30 p.m., had gathered in the cinema compound to welcome their favourite stars. The lucky ones, who had been invited for the event, had taken their seats in the air-conditioned comfort of the beautiful single-screen cinema much before the stars could descend. And then, that moment for which the fans of Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Tripti Dimri and Rajpal Yadav were waiting with bated breath, came. The three stars entered the auditorium amidst deafening applause. The crowds, quite understandably, got uncontrollable, cheering the stars, clapping, whistling, shouting, screaming, clicking pictures and what not!
It took a while to bring the house in order so that the trailer could be launched. And when it was indeed launched, the public went wild with excitement once again. The first screening of the trailer was met with rounds of such deafening applause that it was impossible to understand the dialogues in the trailer. But even without completely comprehending the dialogues, one got the feel of a super-hit. The trailer had done the trick! Thankfully, the trailer was screened the second time because by now, even the fans had realised that they must maintain some decorum. After the repeat screening, the crowds were ecstatic with joy! The trailer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was magical!
Kartik Aaryan revealed that the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had commenced in Jaipur and hence there could have been no better place to launch the trailer of the third film in the franchise, in the city. Director Anees Bazmee said that the film was one of his quickest and that the unit had worked very hard to deliver a blockbuster. “Agar aapko Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 pasand aayi thi toh Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 aapko bahut pasand aayegi,” thundered Bazmee. (“If you had liked Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, you will like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 very much.”)
Indeed! The trailer does give the impression that a super-hit is on its way to the cinemas. The horror comedy has chilling and thrilling moments and it also has humour galore! Frankly, it is written all over the trailer that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is going to be a box-office bonanza!
