The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Bengali film actor Bonny Sengupta for more than four hours yesterday (March 9) after finding his name in the list of people who received money from Trinamool Yuva leader Kuntal Ghosh. Around Rs. 40 lakh was transferred to Bonny from two of the 75 bank accounts belonging to Ghosh who is in jail custody in connection with the cash-for-job scam, also known as the West Bengal teachers’ recruitment scandal.
The ED has hinted that there were three more Tollywood personalities on Kuntal Ghosh’s list of recipients.
