A chowk close to the home of late actor-producer-director O.P. Ralhan on St. John’s Road at Bandra in Bombay was named after him yesterday (12th February). Dharmendra and Zeenat Aman inaugurated the chowk with the new name.
Dharmendra’s first golden jubilee hit, Phool Aur Patthar, was made by Ralhan. Among the other films made by O.P. Ralhan are Talash, Gehra Daag, Bandhe Haath, Hulchul and Paapi. He also acted in films like Talash, Shalimar and Hulchul. He passed away in 1999.
