Kamalchand Sipani, well-known cinema owner of Bikaner, passed away of COVID-19 on 4th August in Bikaner. He had contracted the virus on 31st July and was kept in isolation at a quarantine centre. He was 63 and is survived by his wife and a son.
Kamal Sipani had built Suraj CInema in Bikaner. After running the cinema for many years, he sold it and built a new cinema, Cine Magic. Incidentally, the only two cinemas operational in Bikaner in recent times have been Suraj and Cine Magic. Sipani’s Cine Magic is controlled by Carnival group of cinemas.
