Citara launched three cinemas in the weekend gone by, one each at Nadaun (Himachal Pradesh), Jwalaji (Himachal Pradesh) and Jamkhambaliya (Gujarat). While the two cinemas in Himachal Pradesh were launched on June 6, the one in Gujarat opened on 8th.
The Nadaun property (picture above) has two screens. While screen 1 has 62 seats, the second screen is a 63-seater. The Jwalaji cinema (picture below) has a single screen with 72 seats.
The Jamkhambaliya property (photograph below) is a two-screen cinema with 92 and 84 seats in screen 1 and 2 respectively.
Citara is backed by Padma Bhushan Shobana, actress Padmini Kolhapure, Rahul Nehra (who is the managing director), actor Ranvijay Singh and businessman Uttam Kumar. Producer Tutu Sharma and Rahul Nehra are the co-founders of Citara.
