A letter complaint was filed on November 15 by a lawyer of Telangana before the Chief Justice of India, N.V. Ramana, to direct the Centre to take action against Kangana Ranaut for her allegedly defamatory remarks against freedom fighters and independent India. The lawyer has requested the CJI to take suo moto cognisance of the matter.
