COURT RELIEF FOR NANA PATEKAR IN #METOO CASE | 8 March, 2025

A local court in Bombay on March 7 granted relief to actor Nana Patekar in an alleged ‘Me Too’ case when it held that it could not take judicial cognisance of the allegation against him by a co-star in 2018 as it was “beyond the period of limitation”.

The first allegations were from March 2008, and the FIR was filed in 2018, after an alleged ‘second incident’ in October 2018. The police has filed a B summary closure report of the case being “false”.

The FIR was against Nana Patekar and three others.
