Amitabh Bachchan’s make-up man, Deepak Sawant, was lucky to get his cell phone back after he lost it on March 20. Sawant forgot the high-end phone in the seating area of Dadar station (long distance trains) in Bombay while boarding the train to Amritsar. A coolie noticed it and immediately turned in the instrument at the Government Railway Police (GRP) chowky.
The police later found that the handset, which was worth Rs. 1.40 lakh, belonged to Deepak Sawant. The make-up artiste gave a reward of Rs. 1,000 to the coolie, Dashrath Daund, for his honesty.
