Union minister Narayan Rane and his MLA-son, Nitesh Rane, were served notices to appear before the Malwani (Bombay) police in connection with the death of Disha Salian, business manager of Sushant Singh Rajput for a very brief period, in 2020. While Nitesh was asked to appear at the police station today (March 3) at 11 a.m., Narayan Rane has been asked to remain present at the same time tomorrow (March 4).
An FIR was lodged against the father-son duo on February 26 for making allegedly defamatory and derogatory statements about Disha’s death. The complaint was made by Disha Salian’s mother, Vasanti.
