Veteran Delhi-U.P. distributor Ramesh Jain (of Magnum Films, Delhi) passed away today (9th May) in Delhi due to COVID-19 and kidney failure. He was in his late seventies. He had undergone kidney transplant some years ago. He is survived by his wife and three sons.
Although Magnum Films (in which B.R. Chopra, Raj Chopra and C.V.K. Sastry were partners with Jain once upon a time) was not too active in recent times, Jain was a very popular distributor in the 1980s and 1990s. He was a very friendly person and had an amiable disposition.
Ramesh Jain (Chauradiya) also had a distribution office for Rajasthan in Jaipur by the name of T. Naveen Pictures.
