‘DRISHYAM’ TO BE REMADE IN HOLLYWOOD | 1 March, 2024

Panorama Studios has joined hands with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films to remake Drishyam in Hollywood. Gulfstream Pictures, founded by Mike Karz and Bill Bindley, had produced Blended (which reunited Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore) and Upgraded (starring Camila Mendes, Marisa Tomei and Lena Olin). JOAT Films is founded by Jack Nguyen.

Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak’s Panorama Studios had acquired the international remake rights of Drishyam and Drishyam 2 from the producers of the Malayalam films, Aashirvad Cinemas. Drishyam is already being developed in the US and Korea, and a development deal is being finalised for the Spanish language version. Drishyam has already been remade in Sinhalese and Chinese. In India, the Malayalam film has been remade in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
