‘MAN YEDYAGAT ZALA…’ (MARATHI) REVIEW | 1 March, 2024

Shree Ved Chintamani Productions’ Man Yedyagat Zala… (Marathi; UA) is a love story. Yash (Sumedh Mudgalkar) and Pooja (Swanandi Berde) study in the same college. Yash loves Pooja but she doesn’t love him. How the love story progresses forms the crux.

Vikas Joshi and Sudarshan Panchal have penned a story and screenplay, which don’t involve the viewers. The heartfelt emotions of a love story are missing. Even the light moments are not too appealing or entertaining. The duo’s dialogues are average.

Sumedh Mudgalkar does a fair job as Yash. Swanandi Berde is alright in the role of Pooja. Vidyadhar Joshi lends nice support. Surekha Kudchi makes her mark. Shweta Pardeshi, Anand Burad, Pramod Pujari and Siddharth Badi do as needed.

Yogesh Jadhav’s direction is weak. Nilesh Patange’s music is alright. Lyrics (by Sudarshan Panchal and Siddhesh Patange) are functional. Imran’s choreography passes muster. Background music is so-so. Mayuresh Joshi’s cinematography is nice. Satish Bidkar’s art direction is okay. Manoj Sankla’s editing is loose.

On the whole, Man Yedyagat Zala… is a weak fare.

Released on 1-3-’24 at Plaza (daily 1 show) of Bombay thru Box Hit Movies. Publicity & opening: very poor.
