The Enforcement Directorate has summoned several Telugu film actors and directors in connection with a money laundering case related to a 2017 drugs case. Director Puri Jagannath has been summoned on 31st August. Actors Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Charmee Kaur, Navdeep, Mumaith Khan, Tanish, Nandu and Tarun, Ravi Teja’s driver and the general manager of a pub in Hyderabad have been asked to appear before the ED from September 2 to 22.
According to an ED official, the celebrities will be considered as witnesses for now as their names have figured in the probe.
