Yash Raj Films holds the record for the highest, second-highest and third-highest opening day collections of Hindi films. Its Pathaan collected Rs. 57 crore in 2023 (this week), which is the highest any Hindi film has ever collected.
Its War netted Rs. 53.35 crore in 2019. Before Pathaan, this was the best opening day’s collection. A year earlier, in 2018, its Thugs Of Hindostan created a new record for the best first day collection when it netted Rs. 52.25 crore.
