The Oshiwara (Bombay) police on March 17 registered an FIR against singer-actor Danish Mirza alias Alfaaz in an alleged case of sexual assault and dowry harassment, filed by his wife. The police are investigating the case registered under IPC sections for rape, unnatural sex, dowry harassment, breach of trust and common intention. Danish is absconding.
Danish’s wife alleged in her complaint that he sexually assaulted her from March 2018 to December 2022.
