The Bombay police have registered an FIR against writer-actor Zeishan Quadri for allegedly duping two producers of Rs. 1.5 crore. Producer Jatin Sethi has claimed that he and his friend had invested Rs. 1.5 crore in a web series which Quadri was making for an OTT platform. But, says Jatin, Quadri failed to deliver and cheated the duo of Rs. 1.5 crore.
The FIR under IPC section 420 was filed by the Amboli (Andheri) police station in Bombay. Quadri had written Gangs Of Wasseypur in which he played the role of Definite. Very recently, he had co-written Chhalaang with Luv Ranjan and Aseem Arora.
