Veteran film financier Ram B. Raheja passed away yesterday (7th March) in Bombay at Breach Candy Hospital due to age-related illnesses. He was 81 and had been unwell since 2021. He is survived by a son and a daughter. His funeral was held yesterday.
Among the many films financed by Ram Raheja were The Great Gambler and Radha Ka Sangam. Ram Raheja had financed almost all films produced by Chander Sadanah. He had also financed films produced by Brij Sadanah, N.N. Sippy and Vimal Kumar.
