FIRING AT SALMAN HOUSE: LOOKOUT CIRCULAR AGAINST BISHNOI’S BROTHER | 27 April, 2024

The Bombay city crime branch, probing the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s residence at Bandra in Bombay on April 14, has issued a lookout circular (LOC) against wanted accused Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Anmol, who is believed to be in Canada, had claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post soon after the incident and said that it was the first and last warning to Salman. Anmol has 18 criminal cases registered against him.

It may be recalled that in the early morning hours of April 14, two motorbike-borne men had opened fire outside the star’s residence. The crime branch later arrested two alleged shooters from Gujarat. On April 25, the police arrested two more persons, who allegedly supplied weapons to the shooters. The police are in the process of preparing documents for invoking the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against the four arrested accused.
