A Bombay city civil court on April 26 dismissed the interim plea of a 25-year-old woman who sought a DNA test to establish her claim that actor-MP Ravi Kishan was her biological father. The lady, Shinova, had filed the suit against Ravi Kishan, her mother (Aparna Soni) and “actual on paper father” Rajesh Soni. In her plea, Shinova states that in early 2023, the actor-MP suddenly refused to accept her as his biological daughter. “It is only for the purpose of declaration of her relationship with Defendants No. 1 (Ravi Kishan) and 2 (Aparna) and not seeking any monetary reliefs,” she said in her suit.
The plea sought for her to be declared Ravi Kishan’s biological daughter and that pending final disposal of the suit, the court direct Ravi Kishan and her to undergo DNA test to determine correctness of the claim made by her. The court issued summons to the Sonis. The main suit will come up for hearing on July 23.
