Satnam Films’ Get Together (Marathi; UA) is the story of a get-together which old school friends organise years after they’ve gone their separate ways.
Pravin Kuchekar’s story is ordinary and doesn’t really go anywhere. Sachin Suresh Dhotre’s screenplay is not very exciting or engaging. Many scenes are predictable. Overall, the drama doesn’t satisfy the viewers. Dialogues are dull.
Eknath Gite is ordinary. Trishaa Kamlakar looks pretty and acts ably. Shreya Pasalkar is quite alright. Sanjana Kale lends fair support. Imran Tamboli is okay. Others provide the needed support.
Sachin Suresh Dhotre’s direction is alright. Music (Ajay Ranpise) is average. Lyrics are routine. Prashant Phasage’s background music is fairly nice. M.B. Allikatti’s cinematography is good. N.B. Vishwa’s editing is loose.
On the whole, Get Together will not be able to get together too many viewers.
Released on 26-5-’23 at Glamour (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru Panorama Studios. Publicity & opening: poor.
