Sonu Sood has helped around 12,000 migrant workers reach their homes in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan over the past two-three weeks. On 27th May, governor B.S. Koshyari telephoned Sonu and complimented him for his efforts and “dedicated work in facilitating the safe transportation of migrant people” during the current lockdown. The governor also told the actor, he could reach out to him for any help.
