The Haryana government has permitted cinemas to function at 100% capacity. Of course, the cinemas will have to adhere to the requisite social distancing norms, COVID-19 appropriate behavioural norms and the guidelines as indicated in the SOPs released by the ministry of health and family welfare of the government of India, as well as regular sanitisation of the premises.
Thus far, single-screen cinemas and multiplexes in the state were operating at 50% capacity.
