Aryan Khan returned home this morning (30th October) from Arthur Road jail amid a massive welcome from crowds which had congregated outside Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow, Mannat, at Bandra, Bombay. The Bombay high court had granted him bail on 28th October and he was expected to be set free on 29th but since the bail order could not be deposited with the jail authorities by 5.30 p.m. that day, the release happened today.
Aryan had been in custody, first of the Narcotics Control Bureau and then judicial custody, after his arrest by the NCB in the drugs-on-cruise case. A huge crowd of onlookers had also gathered outside the prison. They cheered Shah Rukh’s son as he emerged from the gate of the jail around 11 a.m.
