The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association has made a brand new yacht as its booth at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. This is the first ever initiative in India to provide a yacht as a platform to delegates and producer-members of the IMPPA, like at the Cannes Film Festival. The yacht will be parked in Goa’s Mandovi river, right opposite the festival venue at Marriott.
The IMPPA yacht will serve as a unique and vibrant hub throughout the festival from 20th to 28th November for the benefit of producers, industry professionals and media representatives. The celebrity-led opening ceremony on November 21 will mark the start of an exciting series of activities, including master classes, film and trailer launches, felicitation of top actors and dignitaries from the film industry and a range of other events to celebrate and advance the Indian film industry. Additionally, IMPPA will make special announcements on the yacht, focussed on new initiatives and support programmes specifically designed to benefit producers.
