INDIA RAISES MISSING INDIANS’ CASE WITH KENYAN PRESIDENT | 25 October, 2022

The Indian government on October 24 raised the issue of two missing Indians with Kenyan president William Ruto and called for expediting the investigation into their disappearance. The Kenyan government is yet to share any official information with India on the whereabouts of Balaji Telefilms’ ex-COO Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan and his friend, Mohammad Zaid Sami Kidwai. The two are missing since July and are feared to have been murdered by the recently disbanded Special Service Unit (SSU) of the Kenyan Police, for allegedly helping Kenyan president William Ruto in his election campaign.

The case is being investigated by the Internal Affairs Unit of the Kenyan police.
