JACQUELINE GETS TRAVEL RELIEF | 17 August, 2023

A Delhi court has allowed Jacqueline Fernandez to travel abroad without prior permission. However, she will have to inform the Enforcement Directorate three days before the trip.

This comes as a relief to the actress who is an accused in the Rs. 200-crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Special judge Shailendra Malik said that in order to seize professional opportunities, the actress required to travel abroad at short notice, and she had never misused the conditions of bail. “In such a situation, the condition of taking prior permission before leaving the country becomes cumbersome and may be a reason for losing livelihood,” the judge added.
