The Delhi high court on December 23 listed for hearing on January 25, 2022 Juhi Chawla’s appeal against an order which dismissed her lawsuit against the 5G rollout, with costs of Rs. 20 lakh, saying that there was no grave urgency in the matter. The court noted that the appeal concerned an order passed six months ago, in June. The case was initially listed for hearing in February 2021.
A single judge in June this year had described the lawsuit by Juhi and two others against the 5G rollout as “defective”, “abuse of process of law”, and “filed for gaining publicity”.
