Producer K.C. Bokadia launched The Last Signature in Lucknow on June 5. The film was to roll on June 4 but Bokadia postponed the muhurt by a day so that it coincided with the birthday of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
The film will be completed in a single start-to-finish schedule. It stars Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Mohan Joshi, Neena Kulkarni and Mahima Chaudhary. It is being directed by Gajendra Ahire.
Before the title was finalised, there was difference of opinion about the same. That’s when Anupam Kher decided to involve the audience. He conducted an online poll where members of the public could cast their vote in favour of the title they liked. The public seemed to be in favour of The Last Signature.
