Kannada film actress Harshika Poonacha on April 20 filed a police complaint against a group of people alleging that she and her husband, Bhuvan, were attacked after an argument in the parking lot of Fraser Town Hotel in Bangalore on the night of April 12. In their complaint, Harshika and Bhuvan stated that two men started a fight with them, saying that their car was big and it could hit their own vehicle when they would take it out of the parking lot. When the couple said in Kannada that they hadn’t started the vehicle, the men called them “local Kannadigas” and added that they should be taught a lesson. Soon, a group gathered there and began to snatch Bhuvan’s gold chain. In the melee, they damaged Harshika’s car.
At first, the couple posted about the untoward incident on social media. But they filed a police complaint when well-wishers advised them to do so.
