The Bombay city crime branch, which is investigating the firing incident at actor Salman Khan’s residence at Band Stand, Bandra in Bombay on 14th April, added the names of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his fugitive brother, Anmol, on 20th April as wanted accused in the case. The crime branch had last week arrested two Bihar residents, Sagar Patel and Vicky Gupta, for allegedly firing at Salman’s house in Galaxy Apartments. Soon after the incident, Anmol had, in a social media post, claimed responsibility and said that it was the first and last warning to the actor.
The brothers have been booked for murder bid. The police have also added sections 506(2) (criminal intimidation) and 201 (destruction of evidence) of the IPC against the two brothers. Lawrence Bishnoi has declared that he would not spare the star unless he apologised for killing a black buck at Mathania in Rajasthan in 1998.
