Bimala Devi Pathak, mother of producer-distributor Kumar Mangat Pathak, passed away this evening (16th August) in Bombay at Criti Care Hospital due to age-related illnesses. She had not been well since three years. Her last rites will be performed tomorrow (17th) at 8 a.m. at the Oshiwara crematorium in Bombay.
Kumar Mangat was on the flight to India from Vietnam when his mother breathed her last. He had gone to Vietnam as part of the film industry delegation to celebrate the Namaste Vietnam Festival of India. Just as he landed in India around three-and-a-half hours after her demise, he got the sad news that his mother was no more.
