Pushpa: The Rule Part 2 (Hindi dubbed) broke all the box-office records in its first week to emerge a blockbuster of epic proportions! The original Telugu version is also doing extraordinary business and so are the other dubbed versions. Not just in India but the film is shining Overseas too. The Hindi dubbed version netted Rs. 65 crore on the first day (Thursday, December 5). Collections on Friday reduced around 15% so that the day closed at Rs. 55 crore. Saturday saw a spike in collections so that the day closed at Rs. 68 crore. The film was on a rampage on Sunday as it netted Rs. 80 crore. No other film has ever collected so much in a single day. After the highest ever 4-day weekend of Rs. 268 crore, collections for each of the four weekdays were also historic: Monday – Rs. 42 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 35 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 30 crore, Thursday – Rs. 26 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was an astounding Rs. 133 crore. In this way, the film netted Rs. 401 crore in the first 8-day week. This is the first film to join the Rs. 200-crore club in 4 days only, the Rs. 300-crore club in 5 days only, and the Rs. 400-crore club in 8 days only! The original Telugu version alone grossed around Rs. 300 crore in the first week while the dubbed versions of the South languages grossed around Rs. 150 crore. The worldwide total 8-day gross of all the versions put together is more than Rs. 1,000 crore.
Moana 2 (animation, dubbed and the original English versions) dropped markedly (about 65%) in its second week due to the strong opposition of Pushpa: The Rule Part 2. Yet, it managed to collect Rs. 5.15 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 19.75 crore.
The Sabarmati Report fell almost 75% in the fourth week, netting approximately Rs. 2.35 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 31.60 crore.
Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (Marathi) fell about 60% in 3rd week in Maharashtra, of course, because of the hurricane called Pushpa: The Rule Part 2 (Hindi dubbed).
