BAD SPELL AT BOX-OFFICE CONTINUES

Do Aur Do Pyaar didn’t get the pyaar of the public in its first week and went largely unnoticed. It netted barely Rs. 4 crore in the first week.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 found no love at all among the audience. It bombed miserably in the first week, collecting only around Rs. 1 crore in 1st week.

Luv You Shankar met with a disastrous fate in 1st week. Its collections for the week totalled a very few lakh rupees only.

The Legacy Of Jineshwar bombed miserably in 1st week, netting barely Rs. 7-8 lakh in the first week.

Appu (animation; Hindi and English versions) failed to attract the public to the cinemas in the first week. It collected less than Rs. 0.50 crore in 1st week.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which underperformed grossly in its first week, crashed further in 2nd week. It netted Rs. 5 crore in the second weekend and another Rs. 2.40 crore during the weekdays. Therefore, its total for 2nd week was a miserable Rs. 7.40 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 46.70 crore.

Maidaan continued its terribly dull run in 2nd week too. It netted Rs. 6 crore in the second weekend and another Rs. 3.50 crore during the weekdays. With its total for 2nd week being Rs. 9.50 crore, its grand total for 2 weeks went up to a paltry Rs. 34.15 crore.

Crew is on its last lap. It collected Rs. 2.75 crore in the fourth weekend. The collections for the weekdays totalled Rs. 1.60 crore. Hence the total for 4th week was Rs. 4.35 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 78.25 crore.

Gozdilla X Kong: The New Empire (dubbed and the original English versions) did average in 4th week. It netted Rs. 0.81 crore on the first day of the fourth weekend. Collections jumped to Rs. 1.47 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 1.83 crore on Sunday, taking the fourth weekend’s total to Rs. 4.11 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.56 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.56 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.58 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.56 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 2.26 crore, the total for 4th week was Rs. 6.37 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 95.75 crore.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is on its way out. It netted only Rs. 0.50 crore in 5th week. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 24.27 crore.

Madgaon Express started its fifth weekend with a take of Rs. 35 lakh on the first day. Collections on Saturday and Sunday rose to Rs. 62 lakh and Rs. 74 lakh respectively, taking the total for the fifth weekend to Rs. 1.71 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 24 lakh, Tuesday – Rs. 26 lakh, Wednesday – Rs. 26 lakh, Thursday – Rs. 24 lakh. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 1 crore. In this way, the total for 5th week was Rs. 2.71 crore. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 32.66 crore.

Kung Fu Panda 4 (animation; dubbed and the original English versions) is on its last lap. It started its sixth weekend with a take of Rs. 11 lakh. Collections on Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 29 lakh and Rs. 36 lakh respectively. After a 6th weekend total of Rs. 76 lakh, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 7 lakh, Tuesday – Rs. 8 lakh, Wednesday – Rs. 9 lakh, Thursday – Rs. 10 lakh. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 34 lakh. Hence the sixth week closed at Rs. 1.10 crore. Grand total for 6 weeks: Rs. 35.79 crore.

MyLek (Marathi) could not do much in 1st week all over Maharashtra.

Rajkaran Gela Mishit… (Marathi) fared poorly in 1st week all over Maharashtra.
