K. Madhavan has been named president of The Walt Disney Company India and Star India. He had served as country manager of Star and Disney India since 2019, overseeing the television and studios businesses. He will now be responsible for Disney, Star and Hotstar and operations spanning across entertainment, sports and regional channels and direct-to-consumer.
