After Maharashtra chief minister, it is the turn of state home minister Anil Deshmukh to jump to the support of Bollywood. Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray recently said that he would not let Bollywood shift its nerve centre from Bombay despite all efforts by some to malign the film industry in the last four months. On 17th October, Anil Deshmukh said that just because some from the film industry were being investigated in a drug racket, it does not mean that the entire industry can be defamed. “We must learn to differentiate between heroes and villains,” he added.
