On the occasion of novelist and writer Pankaj Dubey’s birthday today (28th July), producer Mahaveer Jain has announced the acquisition of the filming rights of the former’s bestselling novel, What A Loser, a campus fiction published by Penguin India. Probably for the first time, the adaptation of the novel into a feature film will be directed by the novelist himself. The screenplay is being written by Pankaj Dubey and Gautam Ved. The film is being presented by Lyca Productions. Producers: Mahaveer Jain and Nikhil Kamath.
