MAN ARRESTED IN KARNATAKA FOR THREAT TO SALMAN KHAN | 7 November, 2024

Bikaram Bishnoi alias Vikram, a 32-year-old man from Haveri in Karnataka, was detained on November 6 for allegedly sending a threat message for actor Salman Khan, asking him to pay Rs. 5 crore to stay alive. The message was received by the Bombay traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline on November 5 from a person claiming to be jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother. The man was picked up in a joint operation by the police of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

According to the police, Vikram belongs to the Bishnoi community but he does not have any link with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He is originally from Rajasthan but came to Haveri more than a month back.
